Or so it would seem. Chalk another one up for Mossad.

Does anyone else remember the scores of SDI (Strategic Defense Initiative; 'Star Wars') scientists in Britain that were dying in large numbers under peculiar circumstances in the late Eighties?

Does anyone know what the story was with that?

I understand that in some cases, a faulty heating system can cause a home to be filled with phosgene.

You gotta be careful, see?

A scientist couldn't even have one of those little carbon monoxide detectors plugged in at his home.

It's not really funny, but a woman my wife used to work for was 97, had breast cancer and was in several drunk driving accidents in the previous two years. (She had been a life long lead foot.)

Wouldn't you know it, when she died it was from a CO leak in her furnace.
