Edwards County Deputy Sheriff Gilmer Hernandez was led into a holding room near the Geo Group-managed prison in Del Rio, Texas for our interview Friday afternoon, Mar. 9. He was shackled in red, metal handcuffs and dressed in a bright orange jumpsuit and booties. He is awaiting sentencing from a federal judge scheduled for March 19, 2007 that could send him to a federal penitentiary for ten years.

Excellent profile on a victim of the current immigration problems in the U.S. Jerome Corsi believes he was prosecuted because the Mexicans demanded it.

Just when you think it can't get any more absurd. This is unbelievable.

I don't know about the judge but Sutton was appointed by President Bush!
Open Border globalist wanting a North American Union.
I can think of no other reason!

As I said, just wait until the Dems win in '08. Anyone trying to stop immigration or tries to deport illegals will be prosecuted under the Dems. (either Hitlery or Osama obama)

I doubt that it would get any worse. Bush doesn't see illegal immigration as a problem and he isn't any better than Hillary or Obama when it comes to this issue.

More treason from from Johnny Sutton. Tool of the Mexican government and the open borders lobby. Boy, has America changed in the last 25 years!

While the Bush-appointed Johnny Sutton prosecuted Hernandez (well, actually Sutton's assistant US Attorney Bill Bauman did), it will be a Clinton appointee Fed Judge Robert T Dawson of Arkansas that will sentence him:
Robert T Dawson, Federal Judge
Nominated by William J. Clinton on November 7, 1997, to a seat vacated by H. Franklin Waters; Confirmed by the Senate on April 2, 1998, and received commission on April 7, 1998.

I agree with IVOR TOSSELL. Sutton is trying to make a name for himself by going after border agents and now sherrif deputies...
Then he lets a POS drug dealer off the hook so he can bring more drugs into the country. Many here have researched what Sutton has done these last few years and it doesn't look good.

Who's the keeper of the Canada ping list, fanfan? One of your mediot moonbats has signed up to FR, after penning a weirdly myopic screed bashing the site.
To: bullypulpit
And that, in a nut shell, is why I left public service. This is complete lunacy.
The PC take over of this country is almost complete. We have boarder agents going to prison because people are afraid of being called racist, we have soldiers being accused of murder by our enemy in a time of war so they are prosecuted because people are worried the rest of the world won't like us. If anyone says they object to the homosexual life style they are sent to rehab or their livelihood is taken away from them, and if Christian students profess their love of their God they get suspend from school or are prevented from graduating.
This country is quickly becoming a place that I don't want to live anymore and that breaks my heart because of how much I love my country.
