Our elected officials are taking us to the cleaners on behalf of shiftless citizens.

I can't speak for other parts of NC, but that is certainly the case in my county.

And the same with schools, I'm sure. The arrival of illegal alien families is a fairly new phenomenon, but the schools have been addicted to money and insulated from accountability and competition for a long, long, time.
