Bill and Hill fired all 93 attorneys as soon as they took office.
Read the op page in the Wall Street Journal this am.
Here is a (snip) to get you going:

"As it happens, Mrs. Clinton is just the Senator to walk point on this issue of dismissing U.S. attorneys because she has direct personal experience. In any Congressional probe of the matter, we'd suggest she call herself as the first witness -- and bring along Webster Hubbell as her chief counsel.

As everyone once knew but has tried to forget, Mr. Hubbell was a former partner of Mrs. Clinton at the Rose Law Firm in Little Rock who later went to jail for mail fraud and tax evasion. He was also Bill and Hillary Clinton's choice as Associate Attorney General in the Justice Department when Janet Reno, his nominal superior, simultaneously fired all 93 U.S. Attorneys in March 1993. Ms. Reno -- or Mr. Hubbell -- gave them 10 days to move out of their offices."

Studying the attack techniques of fascist, communist and demogogig governments once quickly learns that the best defense is a good offense. Mao, Stalin, Hitler and Clinton are all experts in painting their opposition with their own evil. The more outraged they become the more they are able to deflect criticism of themselves for doing the very thing they are attacking. The Clintons are absolute masters of this double think technique. The more transparent the delusion the better it works. Of course, everyone remembers that the Clintons fired every prosecutor in the AG office. By claiming that Gonzales actions are reprehensible they manage to cast their own actions in a better light. Of course, they cannot possible be guilty of the same corruption that Bush is obviously guilty of. Bush, you see, does not have the opinion of himself that he can do no wrong. Again, a claim made by those on the left who consider themselves morally superior.
My father was fond of telling people who criticized others, "When you point one finger at others you are pointing 3 at yourself." Those who find fault in others are always guilty of the very crime they are attacking. Listen carefull to what the Democrats say about the Republicans. It will explain everything about Democrat ethics.
