I think he will get the GOP nomination and be hailed by the MSM as a demigod who has saved the Party of Rockefeller and Gerald Ford from the depradations of the theocratic Taliban Religious Right (i.e., the demonic "Christians"). Within a few days, however, a series of front-page and prime-time exposes will reveal that he is a rather weird person of low character, the antithesis of those values all good Americans hold dear, as well as a very mean person. With that, either Hillary or Obama (or their joint ticket) will coast to triumph in the general election.
Remember the Values Voters? I think they will vote Democrat this time around.
