Mission sent a letter to the Security Council president Thursday officially requesting permission for President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to speak during its discussion on a resolution that would impose new sanctions on Tehran for refusing to suspend uranium enrichment, a council diplomat said.

"Iran Asks For Ahmadinejad To Participate In UN Security Council Debate"

Ahmadinejad's approach to debating is having the loyal opposition tortured and shot, which sounds like a win-win to me.

In principle the accused should be able to defend.

But don't we this guy is an terrorist? Do we really want him flying in New York? Can we at least require he change planes in France?
