They make me sick. Third party, anyone else out there, here I come.........................

This is the quandary many will continue to face in the coming months:

Conservatives: (1) take control of the party and nominate a conservative, (2) sit down, shut up, and support the big-business country-club nominee, (3) go elsewhere.

If enough do #1, they can wrestle control away from the wimps. Otherwise, they will get more of the same.

If enough do #3, they may not win, but they can create a block vote that could swing the election, and thus be a significant influence, and eventual grow into a viable challenger [there are more Independents than members of either party, so a viable 3rd party could become a power to be reckoned with in just a few years].

#3 IS the only option, IMHO. How many times have we gone through this scenario of having the Pub establishment court us every four years and then leave us at the altar? We are losing power and influence dramatically! We are now being written about as if we will soon be in past tense.

Even when we HAD Republican majorities (majority committee posts, etc) we STILL had limited effect in areas of most concern and importance to conservatives, and the libs kept winning. And, let me ask the awful question: Even if we do get a conservative president, how is he going to get anything close to what he wants with more RINOS in Congress?

Things are going to get worse and I think most FReepers know this.

A very craftfully organized third party has the potential to bring about the most political leverage conservatives have EVER had!

Suggested strategies:

Organize initially with ONE purpose in mind--defeating RINOS and liberals in states where it is deemed feasible by party strategists. Concentrate money and talent on these areas only.

Build national and state parties and conduct conventions, etc, to build grass roots support.

Solicit high-profile conservatives nationally.

Construct massive media strategies such as a national newspaper (USA Today works well for the libs), and internet promotion.

After party is organized, THEN debate the option of running a presidential candidate, but only if it would not serve to get a Hillary type elected. This is paramount!!

The point of all this, is that we would now have the kind of power we have not had before, but can use it selectively and wisely, and not harm the cause.

It can be done.
