Eagles guarding the Vietnam Nurses Memorial
This fine man did us proud today with his bullhorn and witty, observant comments to the turncoats
An incredibly handsome group of Iraq veterans standing up to the unwashed and drugged up loonies
The sign says it all...
The moonbats getting into our faces.
I am so thankful to them.
WOW ...thank you for the pics and being there....
Great Pics! Thanks
Hey, we saw that sign.... right here!
Nice job!!!
Thanks for the pics! Heartening to see our upstanding Eagles protecting the war memorials and standing up against these Commie Code-Pinkos.
Wish I could have been there in person.
Thanks for the great pics and the job you are all doing, NautiNurse.
I spent most of the day hanging out with Mike Benge, the writer and former POW. We had coffee at the snack bar in the middle of Moonbat Central, and were pleased to observe that all the coffee cups were red, white and blue, with "Pride in America" written on them. You could see some of the leftists considering their coffee with distaste.
Probably 90% - 95% of the leftists' signs were mass-produced. The homemade ones weren't too impressive. They mostly said semi-coherent things about Palestine, Impeachment and, of course, "war crimes." My favorite read, "Iran and Venezuela, together forever!"
Mike came out of a Porta-Potty at one point and found himself face-to-face with a Park cop, who glanced at his jacket, gestured, and said, "Patriotic Americans over there."
The leftists made a couple of unsuccessful attempts to infiltrate the GOE area. The veterans formed a barrier and stopped everyone with an antiwar sign. They also set up a gauntlet on the sidewalk on Constitution Ave., and gave their opinions to leftists from both sides as they slunk past. One yappy woman walked through flashing peace signs with both hands, and I managed to get a chant of "Victory! Victory!" going, which she didn't seem to appreciate.
I'd say the crowd sizes were pretty close, and our side was more energized. A few aging leftists worked themselves up enough to do odd little dances, but it didn't look like their hearts were really in it.
Hey, all we are saying is give war a chance...
bump
What a Hard Corps looking bunch of guys. I think the Nurses' Memorial was in no danger whatsoever with those guys on the job.
