No slight to Fred Thompson but...

Was Gandhi as non-violent as the peaceniks would have us believe?

"Among the many misdeeds of the British rule in India, history will look upon the act of depriving a whole nation of arms, as the blackest." - Mohandas Ghandi

Gandhi, as a Hindu, respected animals more than his wife. He was a vegetarian, but a nasty wife beater. He and Mandela got away with some bad personal behavior. That they lived as long as they did tells you a lot about their "Oppressors." Mandela is a Communist, and he rightly deserves a place on the Most Over-Rated List - the Media continue to ignore the truth about these people because it doesn't serve the anti-establishment agenda.

Beyond a pretty small group of "Give War a Chance" types (like myself) I didn't think anybody knew about these insane quotes.

I forgive the ex-Senator for his part in CFR.

Fred Thompson for President!

Unfortunately for Rudy, it is. Something to the effect of "there is not much difference between my positions, and Hillary Clinton's" and "If I could run as a Democrat, I would."

I read that. I think it was in Jerry Pournelle's "There Will Be War" series.
"Take him out back and give him a noodle."

I do. If its Rudy, its call "skip that line and go on the rest of the ballot."

Have you checked into Duncan Hunter?

I have, but 98.6 percent of America hasn't. He has no chance. That's just the reality of it. Fred Thompson has lots of name recognition, so he does stand a very good chance, should he decide to enter.

Gandhi cant claim great influence in removing the UK from India. When Governor of West Bengal Chakravarti asked Lord Clement Attlee how much of an influence Gandhi had, Attlee said a minimal amount of influence.

The Sikhs in California can lay claim to the movement, which initiatedd the Ghadar movement.

But you 3rd party types will elect some demhole in'08.

If Giuliani was honest, he'd be running as a Democrat.

What a great reason to put Hillary in the White House!

I will not vote for someone who will violate the Second Amendment and support AWB2 and every other gun control measure the Rats offer up. So, in good conscience, I cannot support Giuliani. If Hillary wins, so be it. Either way, gun owners are screwed. By voting third party or write in for a conservative, at least my conscience is clear.

If Fred doesn't run, you could always vote for Duncan in the primary. ;)

You'd better make sure those quotes are true and in context...before your christian heart condems someone to hell.

Uh, my 'heart' can't condemn anyone to hell. People do that to themselves. I'm just indicating how I would state my belief about where Gandhi is spending eternity.

Alaska's primary is at the end of August. The nominee will have long since been decided.

The lesser of two evils is still evil.

So if Hillorat is our next President, thats OK with you. Then we will have 4 to years of her philosophy and you can gloat. Doesn`t seem like a fair deal.
