If Rudy drops out, then there will be an opportunity for Bloomberg to jump in the race. They have nearly identical philosophies.

No worries.
One of two things will happen now:
1.) Rudophiles ignore post, pretend it never happened.
2.) Rudophiles explain why Rudy is right to call for stricter smoking bans.
I'm waiting to see which.

He just thought that sometimes you go partways to get there, let people adjust and then go the rest of the way, Bloomberg said yesterday.
Was he talking about smoking bans or gun control?
(probably both)

Just another example of JulieAnnie's "BIG GOVERNMENT KNOWS WHAT'S BEST FOR EVERYONE" philosophy!
If you want a bigger, more intrusive, more controlling, 'government knows best' (supposedly Republican) candidate---
JULIEANNIE IS JUST THE MAN FOR THE JOB!!!

I'd say that Rudy's backspin is spinning out of control!
No wonder his guy in charge of this stuff quit last week. He probably couldn't get Maalox by the truckload...

Rudy is of the political philosphy on "How to boil a Frog"
He wants to do the same here with social and constitutional positions that are in league with Hillary/Obama/Murtha and company.

At first I figured it was good natured debate on the primary issues...
But I'm starting to get a sick feeling in my stomach now that people are PAYING staffers to post and have 'official representatives' on Free Republic.. and the subsequent spread out attacks on the various campaigns.
I had come to expect more from some of you...

He just thought that sometimes you go partways to get there, let people adjust and then go the rest of the way, Maybe Bloomberg was misquoting Rudy, but if not ... that statement is beyond scary.
