Disabled man is beaten, robbed

A disabled New Bedford man was beaten on the head with a metal pipe and was robbed of hundreds of dollars by attackers who pulled off his prosthetic leg so he couldn't flee, police said.

One has to remove the metal burner from a stove in order to use it to beat a disabled man. The ingenuity is admirable.

The beating, and resulting brain damage, actually raised his IQ by one half standard deviation!
