I just heard that Elizabeth Edwards' cancer has returned (I'm late getting here today), that it's now present in her bones and is considered stage-four cancer. That sounds very bad. Poor lady--may God bless her and her family, and give them strength and comfort during this ordeal.

As a retired military member, I can tell you that if I'd ever provided classified informtation to someone not authorized to receive it, compromising classified operations and causing the death of at least one person involved in the op, I'd be in jail, and rightly so. Leahy, being a Democrat, gets away with it.

I wouldn't be surprised if he's continued to do it, just being more cautious about being caught.

It's certainly gotten quieter here since MNJohnnie moved to other threads and TexasPatriot8 has been sidelined with illness and family problems (he'll be back, though).

I think it's also possible that many FReepers simply can't stand listening to the endless string of Democrat attempts to create scandal and bring down the Bush administration. I know I take the occasional sabbatical for my sanity's sake!

I agree with you both, though, that OTs are fine. They don't prevent anyone from discussing whatever Rush is talking about.
