Fred Thompson would be the only conservative in the race if he joins it......

who, as a one term senator, voted for McCain/Feingold. Thompson's record on illegal immigration isn't very impressive, either.

Those are NOT all votes on ILLEGAL immigration. Many are on LEGAL immigration.
