Yeah, I know :-) But it was ever thus. There was a functioning communist cell on campus when I was there (I think it was called the Labor Youth League). Now, that's nothing out of the ordinary for a great progressive university, but it had consequences for me -- the mere fact that I went to UW was enough to delay my military security clearance by two months.

The University of Wisconsin at Madison is a war I can drive to in less than an hour. Trust me. It still has a communist cell which is known as the faculty and another known as the administration.
