No evidence of illegal drugs. Nothing unusual on video. Nothing to indicate foul play. Accidental overdose with no criminal evidence present.
Police have closed case.
Stern not to be charged with any wrong-doing pending further discoveries.

It looks like she was a junkie. She apparently had a badly infected sore on her rear, from a needle. Like Elvis, she was surrounded by sycophants who made their living off her, and so enabled her. Even having a baby didn't stop her spiral down. I hope Larry Birkhead gets that baby soon. He seems to be the only one with some integrity.

Her son dies of an overdose and she dies of an overdose.
Who was feeding these drugs to her?
Methadone, anti-depressants, weight loss drugs, human growth hormone, others.
Developed severe depression after Daniel's death, started taking anti-depressants and anti-anxiety drugs.
This only proves she was murdered. (sarcasm)
I anticipate a cottage industry of lurid tabloid speculation, rather than letting her rest in peace. I hope I'm wrong.
Longevity medication (?), B-12, HGH.

Upon arriving in FL began having buttocks pain. Then developed fever of 105.5. Psychiatrist/ friend gave her Tamiflu, anti-biotics, placed in ice bath. Temp fell to 97. Felt better. Was given chlorolhydrate. Felt better. Went to bed. Felt some better but weak and vomiting. Next day (Tues) could not eat. Wednesday felt better, ate. More chlorolhydrate. Thursday morning Stern says Smith was awake and not in pain but very weak and asked help to get to bathroom. Back to bed and fell asleep. Stern left. Did not check on her again. Smith was then watched by wife of friend and firefighter/bodyguard until 1330 local. At 1345 she was discovered dead.
Autopsy found multiple abcesses in buttocks (ouch!). Believes this the cause of very hight fever before death. Likely caused by unclean needle(s). Negative for sepsis probably because of antibiotics given. Methadone in blood but in body ~ within 2-3 days. Three anti-anxiety drugs found in blood. Died of drug overdoses, not abcesses.
