Among those who attempted to explain what Ramadan means for Muslims was Huma Abedin. Mrs. Clinton said that she personally learned a lot from this woman, and frequently mentioned the special importance she placed in establishing dialogue with Muslims. At the 1999 reception, she even said she prayed for this:

I have been told that a common Muslim prayer tells us: "No struggle is easy unless you make it easy for us. And only you, my Lord, can make a hardship easy to overcome." I don't know, that's a good thought to consider. The article also says that Assistant Secretary of State Dina Habib Powell is also a Muslim. Do you trust her?
