THE NUMBERS - REPUBLICANS
Rudy Giuliani 31 percent
John McCain 22 percent
Fred Thompson 12 percent
Newt Gingrich 8 percent
(all other candidates below 5 percent)

Wait till he finds himself in a debate against conservatives. The word "plummet" comes to mind.

That 12% for an UNDECLARED candidate should be making Rudy and McPain totally wet thier pants.
I know, that as of right now, Thompson has my full support, and I really think if he does decide to run that he will jump to the top of the R heap in a hurry.

Any poll conducted this far from the primary is also meaningless.
Nevertheless, I'm no RG fan and I'd be happy with a Duncan Hunter or Fred Thompson nomination.

Rudy Pootie peaked too early. Good, now maybe we can get back to talking about real candidates...
Hunter, or Thompson? Two birds, one stone. Have one be VP for the other.
For name recognition alone, we'll draw in the "Fear and Loathing" stoner crowds who will thinks it's Hunter S. they are voting for. This alone could sap enough of the Dem voting base to swing us the victory. ;-)

If Hannity and Medved would do their jobs, instead of wearing kneepads, he'd already be in Romney territory.

It's 20% - Newt, like Thompson is not declared. In the dems camp. Owl Gore has 17% and he too is undeclared.

He had to peak early, it wasn't going to happen after people got to know him.

Then the real fun would begin.

As soon as Big Fred declares, the Rudybot movement gets tossed into the ash heap of history.
