The liberal Rudybot fans will be here soon to remind us that they don't need us anymore. As someone told me yesterday, the republican party doesn't need social conservatives anymore to win elections, and according to them, no amount of grassroots effort is going to change that.
Here's a quote from FReeper massadvj:
"Inside the party they know that a social conservative cannot win this year. The stars have realigned, and that is that."
Yeah, let's see how the liberal RINO's do without our support!

Not voting for Rudy or Romney in any election.
I could vote for McCain though. Only partly because crazy people are fun.

Inside the party they know that a social conservative cannot win this year. The stars have realigned, and that is that I did not say I liked it. I said it was so. Given the front-loading of the primaries, and all the structural changes that favor a moneyed candidate versus a grass-roots candidate, do you dent that this is so?
You may or may not decide the leave the party because you feel the party has passed conservatives by. That is up to you. I can't say that I would blame you if you bolt. I have considered myself several times in the past. But I just believe that with western civilization in the crosshairs of Islam, I cannot take actions that are going to help Hitlery and the defeatists.
Please don't kill mey. I am just the mesenger.
