Translated: "fake or not, it's part of the record now." You forgot to add the Mua ha ha ha ha! at the end.

You want a Republican to win, then don't sit out the election and allow Hitlery/Hussein to win the White House. Period.

I will never sit out an election, regardless of how putrid the choice of candidates is. However, I won't necessarily vote for someone just because they're Republican. My prediction is, if it's Rudy vs. Hillary, then the only way Rudy will squeak through is if a number of Democrats vote for him, which I think is entirely possible. A large part of the conservative base will not vote for Giuliani, regardless of who his opponent is. If you want the Republican to win solidly, then get a conservative Republican in the running. Don't put a liberal out front as the Republican candidate and then whine that not enough conservatives voted for him.

Just say no to drugs.

You are wrong people do NOT like divided governemnt. People like conservative governemnt.

LEARN from Nov 2006. 100% of DINO's trumped all RINOS.

Rudy Guiliani is a LIBERAL LAWYER. PERIOD.

Left wing on the second amendment.
Left wing on marriage (personally and professionally)
and very Left in governemnt as a solution to all problems.

So switching cars makes a man "totally fake" but:

1) Opposing the flat tax years ago and then supporting it to gain an endorsement.

2) Opposing the partial birth abortion ban and then supporting it to look more pro-life.

makes a man completely trustworthy?

His wives couldn't trust him, he uses public funds on his numerous mistresses, he marches in parades with child molesters, and his radio spokesperson in California is a rabid leftist Dem. What's not to like?

Liberals : why is the GOP still heading for '08 ?

Um, because that's the way time goes?

Because there's no way to head away from '08?

Because the GOP hasn't perfected the flux capacitor?

I give up . . . why?

(This has gotta be a trick question.)

According to InTrade the Donks are beating the Pubs by the odds 57%-42%, a substantial betting edge in favor of the Donks.

This is where real people put real money, not some cooked poll. So this what the bettors really think with their hard cash, not their mouths. It is usually correct, and is more reflective of actual voter sentiment than most polls.

They also have Hillary and Giuliani as the Party nominees.

Fred is more conservative...therefore is more electable.

I'm not sure that necessarily follows in this political environment.

Some MSM reporters aren't too bright. This sounds like the one who wrote a cover story in the 90s about the amazing discovery that men and women are born different.

I plan on either voting for Duncan Hunter for President if he's the nominee or writing his name in if he isn't. I will not suppowt ot vote for a liberal, RINO or CINO.

That's it, changing vehicles? Wow, that's damning I'll grant you.

As for a single guy hanging out with women, that's pretty damning too. I guess I could never consider public office either. Although, on the bright side: at least he likes girls! Most refreshing these days.

And so what if he married a younger woman. I assume she's over 21, and its not like there's never been any May December marriages out there (men & women).

I don't consider any of that baggage.

Now about his tax reform, did Michelle ever get the facts on that? The fact he was talking about reform sounds pretty good, even though I don't know the details.

Or does that take second place to vehicle changes and dating women and finding one to marry.

I'd have to smoke Yoko Ono's weight in hashish to believe Rudy is "Reagan 2."

Wow, I'd have to take the Electric Koo-Aid Acid Test to make that comparison. ;-/

Because Rudy is the face that helped save NY during 9/11. That translates into strength, despite the ups and downs of war. Hillary translates into a woman who should have dumped her husband -- which would be the strong thing to do -- but didn't.

Well, when you modify what I said and cut out very important parts, it doesn't help prove your point, now, does it?

People are free to go back and look at your original post and see that I didn't count out anything pertinent. I was focusing on your linkage between being more conservative and therefore more electable. I'm not convinced that is true in this environment. If I am contending on a point you didn't make, then I apologize.

Less baggage is probably a plus but we do have the example of billy jeff. In his case, scandals didn't have much effect. I'm not convinced that it is a terrible hindrance at all times. Those who think scandals will sink Rudy probably have it wrong. If Rudy fails (and that a decent possibility), it will be because of his liberal social policies, not his "colorful" personal life.

Your second paragraph is a fair analysis.
