I am so freakin sick of this going on. It really p*sses me off big time. All these people need to do something about conditions in their own countries instead of coming here. And we need to do whatever it takes to stop this.

But the need to help their families and no employment opportunities in their countries, are just some motivations to cross illegally to try to get to their American dream.

They cross because they are ignorant, stupid or both. There is nothing in this country that they can't have in their own country. They are just too lazy to figure out how to get it.

You just hit on the nexus of the problem YellowRoseofTx. The Mexican power elite has long used the U.S. as an outlet for their young and restless. These ambitious, dissatisfied, and primarily male young people come to the U.S. to seek opportunity instead of turning on their own government for a better life. And, those who are at the top of the pyramid in Mexico encourage this outward migration as a means of protecting their own self interests, power, and privileges. However, if the U.S. (and it's citizens) should ever get the guts to shut down the border, these disaffected young people would deal with their own government for solutions in short order. Yea....

WIC, Medicaid, Food stamps, In-state tuition, free condoms, free schooling for their anchor-baby kids, tax-free work, free remittance services & credit cards, and the list goes on.
