Chinese food is high in salt, fat and calories. What about all of those "poor starving children in China" my mother used to nag me about cleaning my plate?

LOL. The food the typical Chinese person in China eats bears little resemblance to the cornstarchy gloppy stuff served by most Chinese carryouts.

Chinese meals aren't the same as you get in America - I guarantee.
Americanized Chinese food is to authentic Chinese as Taco Bell is to Mexican fare.
