Can't passengers countersue for the TERROR they felt causing them to report this behavoior. This is going nowhere in court but they will keep trying different angles on it until some 9th circuit precedent is set.

Good luck suing me on something like this. The day they win is the day I withdraw it in cash and have a little bonfire.

At least two of these former terrorists are Christian converts.

They have had a real change of heart and soul.

We need some legislation, like the anti-SLAAP suit legislation, that provide for quick dismissal and shift attorney fees to the plaintiffs.

President Bush should be pushing for lawsuit reform. He used to talk about it but nothing happened. Instead of staying on defense Bush should be on the offense and pushing for new legislation from this do-nothing Congress (and he should be calling them that). And the do-nothing Republicans in Congress should be in lock step with him.

That'll get squashed in the first court hearing.

To them it's a start and as they have professed before, they are in no hurry to destroy our system by working it from within.

If they aren't sure who the "John Doe's" are, I'll volunteer. I'd be glad to take credit.

I would have done the exact same thing as these passengers.

Anyone with an arabic look to them, wearing clothes as a muslim would, praying and speaking in arabic, chanting prayers, saying Alah Akbar, moving to unassigned seats in a plane that just happen to be the exact seats the terrorists sat on 9/11, asking for seat belt extenders that they did not need, I would most certainly call attention to them and ask them to be removed.

Call me a racist, I don't give a rats patooty. Their attitude since, is exactly WHY these passengers are correct. If they weren't doing anything wrong, why protesteth so much??? eh?

And BTW, they are being legally represented by the American Islamic Forum for Democracy. So there are some Islam members standing up for what's right.

I think we have been TOO accommodating already.

Trust in God and country and promote the writings in our Constitution and accommodation gets tossed out the window via lack of concern by many in places of power.

Go figure.

Just a promotion of himself on a smaller level created by his incessant fixation with making people miserable. ; )

Dear Imams: You're insidious colleagues in the Middle East have been advocating the ruthless murder of infidels. Convert to Christianity, Buddhism, or some other sensible religion.

Absolutely. They're not necessarily out to win the lawsuit, they want to scare people into silence and they know this will get a ton of publicity

I'll have to try again since it appears my first response to this thread was pulled due to improper language...ahem...

Omar Mohammedi, the New York City attorney for the imams, said the intent is not to go after passengers who raise valid concerns about security.

I find this most highly improbable-indeed, I would go so far as to accuse Mr. Omar Mohammedi, Esq. of being a prevaricating receptacle of swine excrement.

Are any of these Imams foreign nationals? If so deport them now.

That group is put together by Zuhdi Jasser, a moderate muslim who is appalled at islamofascism. He means it.
