Sometimes I just don’t know what to say. This ole world is a mean place. Did you hear about the teenager who had a baby (unbeknownst to her parents) and then stabbed it 130 times? Why didn’t she just take it to a hospital and leave it there? (shaking my head)

There are so many things I can’t explain texpat 72 and I really do understand how you feel.

Generally speaking, it’s been about good vs. evil for a very long time. The good news is that evil does lose in the end — eternally.

I agree with you. Some of the things happening lately (beatings of elderly people included) make no sense at all. Like Cindy says, it's good vs. evil and there's no shortage of evil.

Hard up hospital staff ordered not to wash sheets, but to turn them over

Snip: Cleaners at an NHS hospital with a poor record on superbugs have been told to turn over dirty sheets instead of using fresh ones between patients to save money.

Housekeeping staff at Good Hope Hospital in Sutton Coldfield, have been asked to re-use sheets and pillowcases wherever possible to cut a £500,000 laundry bill.

Posters in the hospital's linen cupboards and on doors into the A&E department remind workers that each item costs 0.275 pence to wash.
