What was so wrong with what he said? Seems to me the man recognizes the "slippery slope".

It's not a grave, foolish comparison. They have a grave, foolish and disgusting lifestyle. The Bishop is merely telling the truth.

The Bishop merely pointed to the portion of the male homo lifestyle that is still hidden from public view and yet unwritten into the will and Grace show. Much of his opinion has likely been influenced by the homosexual invasion of the priesthood those many years ago and what this did to the Catholic Church.

Why is "row" such a popular word these days. It's Islamic row, gay row, cartoon row, damit I'm tired of all the row!

The relevant quote:
Why say 'no' to forms of legally recognised co-habitation which create alternatives to the family? Why say 'no' to incest? ... Why say 'no' to the pedophile party in Holland?
Why, indeed? "No" is the only answer these perverts deserve.

Amazing reaction considering many gay men were assaulted as children..... Gotta love how mental illness manefests itself.

Right and wrong have no meaning to a liberal because to apply such judgments would be to discriminate (between good and evil, right and wrong).

Well, that is the next step.
Just wait till it is "illegal" to not marry gays in a church. It will come to that, and the only question is what will happen the.

I wonder if this was one of the bishops that would shuffle around the gay priests to different communities.
If everyone on this thread equates gays with perversion, why not ask him to clean his house first. Just how many gays are there in the Catholic church anyway? Quite a lot.
Love this web site, hate how everybody swallows up the "right"'s lip service, hook line and sinker!

We Catholics understand the link between homosexuality and pederasty better than anyone else, having been afflicted with a scourge of homo-pederast priests.
Even according to the Jay Report put out by the US Bishop's council--who did everything in their power to cover up the homo aspects to the sex abuse scandal--some +80% of the cases involved priests with boys.
Only a brainwashed idiot--or someone who is covertly on the side of the abusers--doesn't see the connection.

the key sentence....
“Archbishop Bagnasco was merely illustrating the fact that family policy cannot be guided simply by public opinion.”
It comes down to the definition of “family” and whether or not that definition can change.
