What I find reprehensible is that the GOP leadership isn’t making this issue a national issue, front and center, before the American people. President Bush, IMO, also hasn’t made this issue primary and hasn’t pointed at the Liberals and told the American people that Liberals are causing American casualties in Iraq and Afganistan because of their treasonous mouths.

President Bush needs to call a news conference, prime time, to tell the American people what traitors Pelosi, Reid, Boxer, Murtha, and the rest of the cowardly Liberals are. The time for sweet talk and getting along is long over.

>government is really not accountable to US at all.<

I’m afraid you’ve got that right. My point was that it is the American uncaring mindset (and some of the reasons for it) that has brought us to this point.
Federal laws are only selectively observed as it is, and the arrogance of some in the Congress is outrageous. Who would bring suit against these people? What leftist-activist court would convict them? And who will end up paying the bill?

What about a president? billclinton gave (sold) China some of our most vital military secrets. (Look at ‘em go, now!)

He also gave (sold) China Long Beach Harbor—right next to one of our Navy’s main bases.

He’s a treasonous bastard, and he’s free and rich for his treason.

Today, most of the "leading Democrats" in Congress are falling all over themselves to give aid, comfort, and hope to the Jihad

Nothing will change until the Republicans start representing us like they were hired to do. Why don't they get out on every talk show and tell the truth? What's holding them back? Is it fear? Is it helplessness? Is there another consideration that I'm missing?

Whatever it is, I hope they get back on their feet soon and start acting.

Trouble is, when a man straddles a fence, it is a bit unadvisable to lean either way.

Critically important story out yesterday and the MSM is trying to ignore it. Keep it prominent:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1810468/posts

This was moved out of Breaking and I don’t know how to put it on Front Page.

It’s enormous. Obama says there will be full funding with no deadlines after the veto. The MSM has not reported it since, but the link is in the post.

He needs to take care of business or get off the pot! American lives are being lost because of the treasonous words of Congressional slimes. If my spouse were deployed and put in danger by these schmucks, I would be livid and out front everywhere screaming my head off. The cowards, that think they’re royalty, in the US Congress aren’t worthy of licking the bottoms of our troops boots.

We have American patriots in Iraq and Afganistan; we have traitors in the US Congress. Talk about a sick world.

I say that we need term limits for people who serve in Congress. Many people who are elected do not see it as a way to serve their constituants but a cash cow.

“We see America’s Congressional Democrats becoming the American Judas, betraying America, and Iraq, for the proverbial thirty pieces of silver.”

It is all about gaining and maintaining their POWER. They are the purest examples of the ME, ME, ME generation. Sometimes it makes me physically sick if I think about it too much.

I was saying, if you expect W. to do anything, don’t hold your breath. A sanctimonious President and an arrogant Red Congress doesn[t bode well for our health, does it?

“This is treason.”

It should be the title.

ok, why aren’t they being prosecuted?”

Your guess is as good as mine.I’m guessing the ones who would be doing the prosecuting are sympathetic or pathetic.

It’s time to either prosecute treason, or begin our next civil war. I prefer the first, but I fear we’re well on our way to the second.

Yes, both...........

Your guess is as good as mine.

I believe it is apparent based on the absence of ANY indictments, that no crime has been committed..........

Great article.

Pity no one will ever read it.

If they're looking for it at Family Security Matters I don't reckon they will. The link doesn't work and I can't find the article with their own site search or with Google. I did find it here, and I notice it also appears to be posted at DU, although I can't bring myself to go there and verify that it actually is. My Google search result shows that DU also cites FSM as the source.
