Wow, US employers may actually have to hire US citizens that have the ability to quit without being deported.

I work with a guy who was telling me how he had to work 80+ hours (with unpaid OT) while in this situation. Complaining did in fact mean deportation. You just gotta love corporate America.

Some will. Some will instead choose to expand their businesses overseas.

Coincidentally, we have just entered the first period since before World War I that the market cap of publicly traded European companies exceeds that of US companies. US capital markets are losing market share rapidly, and both SarbOx and the inability to easily move workers between divisions in different countries are big reasons why.

Restricting legal immigration while promoting illegal immigration will only serve to grow economies outside the United States.
