I HATE dim lighting!
If I turn on a light, it is because I want to SEE something!
If I want “ambience,” I light candles.

Screw those fluorescent bulbs....er...pun intended.

I HATE dim lighting!

I got a 3-pack of 26 watt fluorescent swirlies at Wal-mart for $7.50.

They produce 1700 lumens (like a 100w incandescent). They're too bright to look directly at them and the room is lit up like broad daylight.
