I’m closing my Bank of America account next week. Took some time to line things up with other banks etc, but they pissed me off with their outsourcing to India, piss poor service that locked up my account 4 times during my Christmas shopping runs, and the catering to illegal aliens for business. Bank of America is the epitome of what is wrong with American business.

Exactly. Commerce without concience. These outfits (like microsoft) ought to remember who brought them to the dance. But globalism is a great cover for accountability.

Way back when, if a company was unethical and non patriotic, their neighbors didn't patronize them and they went out of business and they had to answer to their customers. Now you're lucky if you can get a customer service rep who can speak English. Accountability? No one cares who they tick off when they're thousands of miles away and you have no idea who they are.

I think it's pretty sad that the 21st century modern, richest economy ever can only afford cheap foreign 18th century labor.

Sounds like a recipe for long term disaster to me.
