Panic setting in. Just another opportunity for the Socialists to stick it to the US.

Its funny to hear the same people complain about electronic voting that were so upset about chads!

With the latest polls showing Sarko beating Royal by almost 10 points in the runoff, panic is setting in.
Name calling, hyperbolic promises, and of course, the weapon of last resort, US bashing!

The Socialists should be informed that the electricity to make the machines operate either comes from nuclear power or from sources that cause global warming. They should not vote to save the drowning polar bears.

Fox reported Sunday that Royal had pulled ahead and would win the runoff.
Any Confirmation?

The Socialist are afraid of a secure voting system. They tend to lose, in such cases.

Now, is it possible to introduce some malware into these machines to make them produce the french equivalent of electronic butterfly ballot?

Electronic voting makes people nervous, because somebody has to program the machines, and programs can be manipulated, machines err, and there’s no trace of the error (you can’t recount the ballots if electronic data is spoiled).
There is no reason to go to full electronic voting. Paper voting works just fine.
Anyway, yes, the Socialists look like they are panicking, and they should be: it was Royal’s election to lose, and she did.
It looks like it will be Sarkozy vs. Royal in the runoff, and she’ll get to lose again.

Except “bâtard” wouldn’t be the word, and “putain” doesn’t get it right.
It would be more:

But this is a family website, so we can’t write any of that here, nosiree.
