my dad, rest his soul, used to tell me that after midnight a million things can happen and very, very, very, very few of them were good..
I would never, ever set foot in Northgate after dark. Way too much alcohol which is just a recipe for disaster.
Excluding beautiful sunrises of course.
I feel bad for their mom...or whoever loved them.
I’m pretty sure that’s a two-shot foul.
well, that’s considered early morning..LOL
got together with a bunch of friends when I worked in austin, tx..went out to a hill off of (360 I think??) with several thermoses filled with bloody mary’s and watched the sun rise..nice time..
I didn’t know that there was a “V Bar” in Northgate.
It’s fairly new. I’m not sure when it opened. I’ll have to ask around.
An arrest has been made in the stabbing of twin brothers following an early morning bar fight at Northgate. That fight left a Rice University basketball player dead.
At 3 p.m., College Station police say they arrested Ronald Johnson Jr, 23, from College Station in connection with the crime.
Authorities say a fight broke out at the V Bar on College Main around 1:45 a.m. Thursday morning. The twin brothers and those involved in the altercation were asked to leave the bar. The fight continued outside, where Jonathan and Janson Bailey, 22, were stabbed.
I think it's two shots plus possession.
It’s sad, why can’t guys just have a good old fashioned fist fight and not pull out weapons?
Better diss’d than shiv’d, my momma always said...
That’s why years ago...kids were home at night with their families and not out on the streets. Too much trouble waiting out there. OH well, you can only warn people. You can’t make them do what they don’t want to do. Sad for the parents of these twins.
Whatchya sayin thar?
That’s where I spent most of my Thursday nights when I went to A&M. My brother and sister-in-law met at the Dixie Chicken many years ago.
I can’t imagine it not being safe.
Very sorry to hear about this.
A guy would think that it wouldn't be too hard to figure where (and when) not to be. It's hard for me to feel sorry for somebody who chooses to put themselves in this kind of situation.
