Angry Write Mail, you are incorrect about Mormon theology:
1. Mormons believe that EVERYONE will be resurrected. I’m not sure how other Christian faiths view this but in Mormon theology physical and spiritual death are considered separate items. All will be saved from physical death by being resurrected but not all will be saved from spiritual death (being separated from God).

2. It is true that Mormons believe that in order to be worthy of the highest degree of reward in heaven one must be married but it applies in both directions. Meaning that a husband is just as dependent on his wife to go there as a wife is on her husband. Further while divorce is strongly discouraged it is an option in extreme cases so a women is not forced to choose between remaining with an abusive husband and losing out on potential rewards in the hereafter.
Well I guess St. Paul, most all of the great saints of the Middle Ages, and even Jesus Christ Himself just won't make the cut to "the highest degree of the reward in heaven." Pitiful.
Say what you will, but this just isn't Christianity.
My personal opinion is you would be better off to ignore baitings to draw you into defending your cult. Let the man and his life speak for him, without getting into contentious wrangles over aspects of Mormonism. Morally, Mitt Romney appears way ahead of his competition, except maybe Duncan Hunter.
This is so bizarre. I grew up in the RLDS, now called the Community of Christ, or something like that.
THEY EXCOMMUNICATED ME because once I moved out of my parents, married then divorced my husband, who’s father was some sort of priest, I told them to buzz off. I think I have the papers somewhere.
But they were the liberal branch that stayed in Independence, MO after the Mormons went to Utah. And I can tell you that while it was a bit goofy at times, it was pretty innocuous. It was nothing compared to what’s being posted here about the Mormons.
And those socalled “fundamentalist” Mormons really creep me out. They’re all on welfare and I think the Mormon church should use some of its Vaticanesque fortune to help clean up the mess of polygamy.
Still. I think Romney is the best candidate so far period. I really don’t think Hilary or Barak can beat him.
The Mormonism bothers me. But, there it is.
