As the world gets hotter by degrees,

Not tonight in the middle of Missouri.

Predictions are that the all-time recorded low for April 7 of
25 degrees...will be solidly busted by a low of 19 degrees in
the early morning hours.

And this cold snap will be at least a week long.

If CO2 levels have increased the amount of radiated heat that is being trapped within our atmosphere, we should not be setting record lows. But we are.

Also, warmer ocean water leads to more evaporation and more rain. It rains much more in the tropics then is does up in the higher latitudes. That is why the extensive rain forests tend to located nearer the equator, which receives more sun energy and is hotter.
