The Knoxville (TN) News Sentinel had a front page, above-the-fold article on global warming with the headline “Climate Report in One Word - GRIM.” Next to it was a local article with the headline, “Crops Left Shivering in the Cold.”
Lows predicted tonight are the lowest temps on record for the month of April. I just covered my azaleas.

I am willing to accede the Earth may be warming. To deny that would fly into the face of historical data. But claiming it is Man-Made is the BULL$h1t part.

I'm not a scientist. I'm just a programmer, specializing in part, in improving the performance of real-time systems. But even I understand the need for a *baseline* measurement (i.e. what is the performance of the system before and after the changes).
So, my question for Al Gore is: what is the baseline for the Earth for the year 2007? In other words, what would the temperature be if there were no humans, with the only affects coming from solar activity?
The answer, of course, is "who knows!" There is no way to determine what the temperature would be if we weren't here. Therefore, any claim of affects of human activity are totally bogus.

I believe that all globalist politicians, regardless of party or country MUST ram the alleged global warming lie down our throats. The fact is, the UN has been trying to figure out a way to levy a tax on all people of all nations for years.
Global warming gives them the perfect avenue to do this. Al Gore is just, like the fool he truly is, enabling them for the power he believes will be his by doing so.
