Humpft! In a pigs eye it did, regardless of what the article said, the cookers just found either alternate sources or alternate "feed stock", or some of both.
But then those who would punish and restrict the many for the transgressions of the few are always justifying their actions as "for the greater good". Or more recently, "for the children".
Or in Hitlery’s words, the “common good”. Remember “We are going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good.”? She wasn’t talking about taking money from the capitalist overlords. She was talking about taking money from the middle class and the poor class.
Let me tell the welfare recipients one thing. Welfare won’t last forever. Eventually, the socialist government and the wealthy elite will have all the money, and then they will stop giving you handouts, and then you will either starve to death or be forced to overthrow the oppressors.
