This latest analysis shows that the Sun has had a considerable indirect influence on the global climate in the past, causing the Earth to warm or chill INDIRECT!!!????

Yeah, I thought that amusing also. I suppose if the sun went out, we would get a temperature drop of only a couple of degrees! The CO2 would keep us warm...
