My point is that he knew he was powerless to enact any gun control. He may well have advised the Clinton crooks, but he knew full well that Cities do not have the power to control guns. Indeed. I was a legal NYC pistol carry permit holder, original granted in 1980; every 2 years, according to law, I renewed my permit on my birthday. No problem through 2 democrat administrations (Koch and Dinkins). When Giuliani came in, the rules changed, and after 19 years, I could not re-up. He’s a gun grabber.
