In my younger days, I have been in some frat houses where most all, if not all were drunk out of their minds. I also lived on the floor with the athletic fraternity for a semester after my separation from the Navy. In neither instance did anyone distinguish oneself by their discretion.

I am not sure that we will never know what happened that night. Although it was demonstrated that no student’s DNA was left in the woman. That distinguished group of scholars may have had other methods of play in mind. I would not judge the woman too harshly.

Just a thought from an old sailor who has spent a lot of time with persons that underestimated their capacity for alcohol.

This woman couldn’t tell a straight story, ever. She had at least five different DNA’s in her and you want to cut her some slack! First test her for Nifong’s DNA and then prosecute her for the lies!

This was not the first time this woman leveled charges that were subsequently found to be unsubstantiated. People like that are just as much a danger and should be prosecuted, IMO.

"I would not judge the woman too harshly."

She had the DNA of five other men inside her. She lied about the whole "rape" thing and you say not to judge her too harshly? You just gotta be a dim plant.

Ask the LAX Duke Team, there that night. Their stories pan out with time-line and evidence, pics, cab drivers, witnesses, atm surveillance cameras/recipt. Her's never did.

That distinguished group of scholars may have had other methods of play in mind

Very soon after the "recent unpleasantness", a bunch of we, ad hominemed as "hooligans" by the academic elite of 88 at Duke, pulled up dimensions of the house the alleged rape/sodomy/mouth rape/choking went on. The wee size of the bathroom (location of alleged abuse) would make potty training of a tot a difficult task.

And we "hooligans" knew some in the media were watching the evidence and facts we brought to bear on this case; and yet, they remained in denial. Were they fearful of "Shabazz"-type riots at the workplace? Fearful of knife-wielding and oral-sniping abusive feminists should evidence/facts be printed in a newspaper?

And the print media, including the "visual media", cannot yet understand why their ratings plummet?

They can be activists for minorities, for women, for Democrats, for liberals -- somehow this secular humanities agenda is okay and probably because it's massively promoted in all institutes of public education.

But simple facts? Dimensions of the bathroom? Photos? Suddenly declared OFF-LIMITS IN THE "NAME OF SOCIAL JUSTICE."

"Social Justice" has been clearly shown -- to the US and the world - that Social Justice is a lie created by socialists, for socialists, and against anyone who isn't one of their own.

Their words about "loving" diversity have been shown as a lie. And "multi-culturalism"? Duke University showed itself as giving lip-service to; but denying fairness to three young men -- in the name of "social justice" and fear of "social justice lawsuiting".

Egads, we went digging through cyber graveyards pulling up data. We dug through financial records. We perservered and bore through every single newer liar and lie, and aspersion-casting by Socialists.

This declaration of innocence yesterday by Attorney Cooper, wasn't just a win for three wrongly accused young men; but it was a victory for simple people like me who uphold justice; not as a quota'd, partisan "tool" for political advancements.

The real racists were those who activized, sans or even with the facts and evidence FOR a black woman, because she was "black."

The real hateful sexists were those who activized, sans or even with the facts and evidence for a woman, because she was a "woman".

The real hateful class warfare mongers were those who activized, sans or even with the facts and evidence for a "poverty" figure, because she was "poor".

Not a single one of these gave a damned about Crystal, the human. But only that she was useful for their OWN ideologies and "truth to power" schematics and master agenda.

I don't think it gets a whole lot more hateful than this. They were hateful to Crystal. Not helpful.

Her family, OTOH, did what families do in such a circumstance -- they stood by her.

But those who encouraged the lens of sex, skin color, money to be the larger focus in this case -- need to look in the mirror and face their own hate. It was they who depersonalized Crystal. Just as Crystal did to three innocent men at Duke.

When I was a freshman in college, I pledged a fraternity my first semester. At the end of that semester I de-pledged, in part because I couldn’t keep up with the drinking schedule. Now, I’m a man who later served as the president of a beer club for 3 years. I have a deep and broad appreciation for the stuff. But I am also sensible, and my general impression of fraternities is that the pace of drinking among them is beyond frenetic (except for Farmhouse Fraternity...they only allowed milk).

There were no good guys in the whole sorry mess.
On one hand you had a bunch of young men who were raised with decent moral values who disregarded these values to hire this slut to perform God knows what kind of acts to titillate them.
And you have this sorry ass female who has NO self respect and is a liar and convicted criminal.
Sure, the rape charges were bogus and PC motivated by that Nifong idiot but these boys really need to do some kind of moral reappraisal of THEIR behavior that evening.
