It was just announced on the "Mike and the Mad Dog Show" on WFAN (Imus's home base): Imus is out of a job on radio as well.
He will not even be on the air tomorrow.
He’s a bit nuts.
I think if Jackson and Sharpton stayed out of it, the outcome would have been much different. imho.

The biggest problem for me now is that I can't listen to the Devils, Yankees, or Giants on the radio anymore -- since their games are all broadcast on CBS affiliates in New York. LOL.

The professional offended need to learn the point of the radio dial. No one had a gun to their head and was forced to listen to Imus. I’m sick of people who act like he’s being shoved on everyone.
Oh my God! Dick Morris praising Obama for saying Imus should be fired.. says this means Obama passes for being “brave.” Doesn’t he understand this means an Obama presidency would be in favor of taking away free speech./
I think we are supportive of punishment, but that it should be measured— and that firing him was an overreaction.

Last I checked, the heads of CBS and NBC weren’t black. The people who did this are the cowards running the network. They helped to create this environment of fear and now they are victims of it.
I’m black and I’m sick, too. Not only for this BS witch hunt that is coming, but also for the fact that the fundraiser is going on. I remember that from way back in the 90’s on WFAN. Too much is being made of this.
