I agree with you to some extent (limited by my belief that a large percentage of this country is in a blissful coma). And the timing of this in conjunction with the Duke Lacrosse scandal is excellent. It proves that not only are blacks not discriminated against, they are pandered to. Reminds me of the old cartoon showing the kid surrounded by a mountain of presents under the Christmas tree screaming "IS THIS ALL!".
I'm not so sure the silent majority is even breathing. 30 years of media conditioning has elapsed since that term was coined.
