To: Dont Mention the War; All

If people would follow Jesus’ advice about turning the other cheek and if the Rutgers team told Imus that they forgave him, I am sure Imus would have felt that his insults have no effect on intellgent people and he might tone down his insults in the future.

Reacting adversely to Imus comments by firing him, only creates more racism and racial consciousness and it does nothing to actually rehabilitate Imus.

Turning the other cheek always diffuses the situation and makes the enemy actually feel guilty or irrelevant and this is the wisdom of Jesus which everybody can learn from

I think if Jackson and Sharpton stayed out of it, the outcome would have been much different. imho.

You are correct, but the Reverends Sharpton and Jackson cannot allow any forgiveness. They’d be out of a job, donchaknow.
