[BREAKING] N.J. Gov. Corzine Hurt In Car Accident
WBZTV.COM ^ | 12 APRIL 2007 | AP

(CBS) GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, N.J. New Jersey Gov. Jon S. Corzine was injured Thursday night in a car accident on the Garden State Parkway, but a spokesman says the injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Democratic U.S. Sen. Jon Corzine was elected governor of New Jersey in November 2006, soundly beating Republican businessman Doug Forrester in a race that set records for campaign spending but alienated voters with its mean-spirited politicking. With 97 percent of precincts reporting, Corzine had 53 percent to Forrester's 44 percent.

I've seen how people drive there, it was only a matter of time before some bigwig got involved in an accident. Maybe he will sponsor legislation to get people to drive the speed limit, or something.

My concern? I'm moving to NY in a couple of weeks, just ten miles across the NJ border. I expect I will be doing some driving in that state.

Broken leg? Good, that’s nothing. Thank God it wasn’t worse.

They are showing Corzine’s car on TV here. It looked like it was run off the road and hit pretty bad. The NJ State Police are looking for the hit and run driver by helicopter.

>>Hmmmmmm. McGreevey broke his leg while in office.

It’s the ones on our radar. Been a horrible rash of then, just ask the director of Christmas Story or his son....never mind, they’re dead. Guess by whom?

This has nothing to do with the story. If he had been a Republican that beat the pants off of a Dim, this paragraph would not be in the story.

I hope they find them, who ever they are. What a cowardly action for someone to do.

I’m not saying they don’t get into accidents at all. I just think it’s really absurd to automatically assume that because someone got in a hit and run, it must’ve been an illegal.

Could have been a trooper car being driven by an illegal alien.

You have to understand the border bot mindset.

"All crime is caused by illegals."

Or the more common version, "All crime is caused by Hispanics," since all Hispanics must really be illegals.

I hope he is OK, and I wish him a full recover.

As to his life and his actions, he is a bad tree who produces bad fruit.

That would not be good for said trooper, especially if he values his job.
