Oh Steve you should have kept your mouth shut about something that was none of your business. Trying to close the deal on a few hard to sign recruits perhaps?

For the last time, the Democrats of the 19th century were for limited government. The spawns of that bastard Hamilton, the Whig/Republicans OTOH, were for government programs that had been tried in every state (and failed), for printing money out of thin air, and for heavy tariffs to fund their 'internal improvements' in the north and buy off northern manufacturers with protectionist policies.

We call the position of Gamecock head coach the Del Boca Vista retirement community for coaches.
The flag is there to memorialize Sherman’s burning of Columbia and the pain they suffer from never rebuilding the city.

Does Spurrier know that these same people that want the flag down didn’t want him as a coach? They wanted a black coach instead.

Slavery was the biggest of Big Government programs.
Alexander Hamilton was the favorite protege of George Washington.
Before the Civil War, most federal government interal improvements spending was in the South, though nearly all tariffs were collected in the North.

Famous World War Two General George S. Patton’s grandfather fought the 22ND Virginia Infantry he was damn proud of his grandfather

He will always be the #1 Gator. Without SOS, UF would be nothing in athletics.
And I think he has a valid point that having the flag probably hurts him in recruiting.
That having been said, I hope UF beats the Hell of South Carolina when we play them.

In a compromise to the left the flag was moved to the Confederate Memorial, on State House grounds. I think it’s across the street from the State House. The move still wasn’t good enough for the left once again proving giving in to them gets one nothing.

It took Joe Montana to make 49er fans forget about Spurrier. The way he held that clipboard on the sideline was a sight to behold.
