So your latest reason to dislike the guy is:

1. He played in the NFL.

2. He was hired to coach in the NFL.

3. I can’t proofread.

Before the Civil War, most federal government interal improvements spending was in the South, though nearly all tariffs were collected in the North.

And you have the data to back this up (other than your own deluded writings)? Course you don't. Why? Because historical data shows that is a lie. No other word for it. But hell run it around enough and people will believe anything. Like abe was a good man for one.

Yes that's about it. He's a gator traitor. I watched every Washington game with a gladness in my heart. I love to see him lose. It thrills me when he trashes his hat, play sheet or headset. When he acts like a spoiled little kid, I am in heaven. I look forward to his twisted grimace, his arrogant smirk, all signs that things are going horribly wrong and he's probably losing. Shall I go on?

You can take comfort in the fact that Stevie boy doesn't like me much either. So that makes us even.

My ancestors were butchered by these idiots.

So, you had innocent civilian kin in Sherman's path too.

No, I’m not going to spend my weekend doing research for you. You’re just not that important.

Why was there a massive, spiffy fort in Charleston harbor, yet nothing equivalent in Boston, Philadelphia and other northern ports? Because southerners were in control of the federal government for decades before the Civil War, and so the bulk of federal internal improvement spending was in the South. Most northern states were wealthy enough to finance their own projects, but the South relied on Uncle Sam. Don’t forget that in 1860 94% of tariff revenue was collected in NYC, Philly and Boston.

Calhoun, Rhett, Davis, Pelosi, Clinton, Obama — all Democrats.

How many times does it have to be explained to you that the Democrats were the Constitutionalists in the 1800’s and the Republicans were the Radical “Centralizers” of power in the Federal Government?
You mention Jefferson Davis and John Calhoun along with Pelosi, Clinton and Obama. The latter should be joined at the hip with Lincoln and Summner, et al. Not with true Southern Patriots.
Get your facts straight.

Before Spurrier UF had:

0 SEC Titles in Football
0 SEC Titles in Basketball

Spurrier put UF on the map. If not for what Spurrier did at UF, we never would have been able to get a coach like Urban Meyer to come here, and been able to keep Billy Donovan here for 10+ years.

The Democrats of the pre-Civil War era who were pushing for a federal slave code and a federal law allowing expansion of slavery into the territories and and the right to bring their slaves in to the North and enforcement of the fugitive slave act, whereby the federal government REQUIRED state government and private citizens to help catch escaped slaves, and on and on. It was the GOP which resisted this encroaching power of the federal government. I have nothing more to say to you other than what is on my blog. Cheers,

>>He’s a little dumb even opening his mouth.<<

Lost in all this fuss is the fact that the Confederates were Democrats.

It's not so much "lost" in the fuss. Rather:

- It's an incorrect statement as there were also Whig, Know-Nothing, and non-affiliated people who sided with the south like President John Tyler

- Nobody really cares, because the political parties today don't look anything like the political parties 150 years ago.

The fact that he was PLAYED IN the NFL should tell you he was a decent quarterback.

Spurrier tanked in the NFL though. He was the quarterback for the 1976 Tampa Bay Buccaneers - widely considered to be the worst team ever in NFL history. They went 0-14 for the season, including 5 scoreless shutouts.
