I believe it is total coincidence. Nobody could have predicted what would come from Imus' mouth. The Media Matters nuts have been monitoring Talk Radio for years. They needed a win bad, and they could only get one from a dopey lib like Imus, and that would not have happened either, had he taken Howard Stern's advice.

Like George Allen before him, he should have realized that the whimpering apology, is like raw meat to sharks.

Never apologize to the enemy. Ann Coulter never apologized, in fact, she defended her comments and proved them accurate. (Check the YouTube of the Breck girl doing his hair) George Allen would be Senator today, if he had not apologized, and said "If Macaca aint the word, then tell me what the word is for 'Stupid Liberal' and I'll change it."

Ask any woman whether when you mess up, she would take a new dress over an apology. If she wants the apology and not the dress, dump her before she dumps you.

The libs got lucky, it wasnt a conspiracy, and that will be proved when Imus returns to the airwaves via satellite, and continues bashing Hillary like no tommorow, with the same guests, and the same schtick.

This is a totally disingenuous statement on Scheuer's part. He knows the jihad had sunk its roots into Europe well before the Iraq war - in France, England, and particularly Bosnia where Clinton encouraged the jihadis to come and fight against the Serbs. As for the "cauldron" in the Middle East that we have supposedly created - the Iranian Mullahs, Hezbollah, the Muslim Brotherhood, Egyptian Islamic Jihad, al Qaeda's plans against the Saudi's - these all existed before the Iraq war and Scheuer knows it.

But Imus was just using what has become mainstream vernacular. In this context, hos don’t necessarily mean whores. Regardless, he apologized profusely and publicily. The Rutgers basketball team accepted his apology after he was fired twice.

What Imus said about those college girls is inappropriate.

I don't think Imus really thinks that they are "ho's"...and he did apologize to the RU girls, so I have nothing against Imus in that regard.

But then he went on the hypocrite, Al Shapton's show and he apologized for him, that's when he made his final mistake.

I agree they got lucky but with Imus it was only a matter of time he has always had diarrhea of the mouth and apologizes all the time for saying dumb stuff.

The fact that media matters tagged him at 6:08am goes to show they were there and waiting for an Imus hit,and I still think it's feaslibe that the hit was inspired by begala/carville/at the behest of Hillary all of whom could well have been behind it.

The reason Zinny is so negative is because he has staked his entire career and life on our losing in Iraq. If no one has noticed, the Democrats have this same goal.

He wants to be able to be on all the MSM networks in 10 years or so claiming, "I tried to tell you guys".

Much the same with McCain in his support, with one major exception. McCain truly believes what this world will be like if we succumb to the Democrats on the Iraq withdrawal policy.

Short version, McCain believes what he says, Zinny is only hoping his "take is right". I side with McCain.

You're definitely right about this.  I personally don't trust McCain, but I think he (almost) always believes what he's saying.  That doesn't save him from being wrong, but he is largely being sincere.  Of course, that's also part of why he scares me on so many of the issues that I disagree with him, such as CFR.  He truly believes that the people have no right to criticize their elected overlords, so to speak.

Zinny (I love that spelling, well done) has the typical assurance that anything he says that turns out to be wrong about Iraq will disappear down the DBM memory hole and he'll never be called on any of it.  Only if he's "right" and Iraq turns out to be a disaster (caused largely by the Dhimmicrats sabotaging our efforts there) will his "wisdom" be remembered.  It's part of the pact with Satan that these monsters have made.  No, they didn't sign anything in blood, nor would they recognize that this is what they are doing, but they, the DBM and the Dhimmicrats and their allies, are doing the work of evil in the world today.

And they congratulate themselves on how "progressive" they are.  If they succeed they will put us back over a thousand years to the time when "civilization" was largely a joke and human life was very, very cheap.

The counterterrorism blog stated that the hezzies are re arminmg from Iran with more intermediate weapons from 50-250 km only this time they can carry either chemical or bacterial weapons as well. The chem weapons could be chlorine,rumors are they have experimented with the chlorine on a limited basis in Iraq.

I believe you are correct, and I think we will see this continue to haunt the Rats because it is not the Republicans that are so into “Gangsta” Rap, it is the let em do anything Rats. There are plenty of Black Religious leaders (not Faux ones like Sharpjack) that have been trying to stop the destruction of their Young People by the rappers with not much success, even with Bill Cosby and other Celebrities that have lent their time, money and energy to the cause. It is coming to a head because the depravity is palpable in these communities, and the caring People want their Communities and Families back. Jerry Doyle had an excellent show on Friday that showcased a Town Hall Meeting in Mississippi that Bill Cosby held last week. He had former Druggies and criminals in the Black Community that turned their lives around through faith and caring. The media never touched the Town Hall meeting, that is why they are going down the tubes, they have no clue what is really important.

Zinny’s problem is that he wanted to be Peter Pace in a Democrat administration. It could never happen under Bush or any other Republican. There is nobody smarter than a General or Admiral. If you dont believe me, just ask them. Zinni wanted the big job, and Republicans kept him from it. He and others will bitch because its up or out at that level.

I found it interesting about the timeline.

Supposedly Imus made the remark about the Rutgers team on Thursday morning..but nothing came out BIG TIME about it until after his Friday show..during which he said some negative things about Hillary.

Someone last week posited that had he not made the Friday remark about Hillary..the Thursday remark wouldn’t have been blown up as it was.

I don’t know....I report you decide.
