I am glad I read this. My family is pushing for a Disney trip because the youngest child has never been there. I don’t want to go. I was there 12 yrs ago and I didn’t enjoy it. I tend to avoid large groups and places since 9/11 and although I am working on it I just can’t seem to get myself to commit to a vacation there. This gives me more of a reason not to go. I never went as a child & I don’t feel its going to affect my daughter if we don’t go.

My kids are not pressuring us that much. Besides, we live close to many parks like Six Flags, Schlitterbahn and Sea World

Do yourself a favor and go to a true family amusement park like
Knoebels Grove in upstate Pennsylvania.
Beautiful park with great rides and food - and always rated at or near the top by coaster enthusiasts and amusement park efficianados.
