Apr. 15, 2007-Alveda King didn't mince words about where she stood.
"Abortion," she said, "is not a civil right. How can the dream survive if you're killing babies."
The niece of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. told a crowd of about 100 at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Springettsbury Township on Friday that she compares abortion to slavery. "The baby is like a slave in the mother's body," King said. "And the mother is like the master who decides who lives and who dies."
King talked about her background and her opposition to abortion and showed several religious videos. She is the daughter of Rev. A.D. King, Martin Luther King Jr's brother. Alveda King has served in the Georgia state house of representatives.
King said she had two abortions in the 1970's. Later she said, she found herself pregnant again and decided she wanted an abortion, but she needed $250 for the procedure. Her boyfriend, she sid, refused, as did her grandfather.
"Today," King said, "that baby is 30 years old, and he's beautiful."
Because of the abortions, she said, she suffers from "post abortion syndrome" and now faces higher risks of breast and cervical cancer.
Melissa Plotkin, a spokesperson for Planned Parenthood of Central Pennsylvania in York, said Saturday that King's statements about cancer are not true. On the issue of breast cancer, she said, if someone goes to the government scientific web site, "that myth would be dispelled."
Plotkin said that research has shown that the human papillomavirus can cause cervical cancer and has been linked to sexually-transmitted diseases. There is, she said, no link between abortion and cervical cancer.
King said the founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger, was racially motivated.
"Margaret Sanger only wanted babies born with blue eyes and blond hair," she said. That is why Planned Parenthood clincs are where minorities live, she said.
Evidence that Sanger was not a racist is detailed on Planned Parenthood's Web site, Plotkin said. In addition, the local Planned Parenthood organization has clinics in places such as Red Lion, Hanover, Chambersburg and on the outskirts of Gettysburg. The group that receives the most services, Plotkin said, are Caucasians.

Heck, this reporter needs to do a Google search for his story, not just lap up what Planned Parenthood tells him.
And yes, the Planned Parenthood clinic in York is located "where minorities live." But of course we are a 90 percent plus white area, so the overall picture or who is served is different.

Margeret Sanger wrote Hitler regularly and discussed the need “weeds” out of society. She was a complete racist and MLK was the willing dupe they were looking for to bring abortion to Blacks.

Could that be because "caucasians" vastly out number black people?
I've seen the stats that matter and that is that black abortions out number all others in proportion.
Why have Republicans failed to make inroads into this voting block? I understand that the racism industry is powerful. However, it cannot be invincible.
Yet they defiantly and proudly vote Democratic over and over and over and over and over again.
For me it defies logic and reason so I have just given up trying to figure it out. That may be the course decided upon by the Republican Party.
It is difficult to overcome but it is not "invincible". When the republicans take conservative stands it is much easier. When they take progressive stands such as amnesty for illegals and support for homosexuals, it makes things so much more difficult.
I have been fortunate to have found a few converts over the years, but lately all I hear is that there is not a dime's worth of difference between republicans and democrats so there is no incentive for anyone to switch.
If the republicans choose any of the liberal presidential candidates like Rudy Mc Romney, it will be even more difficult.

They do. In proportion, blacks make up about 12% of the population but 35% of abortions. I’m not 100% sure on that, but I think that’s the stat.

Many older black people are still voting for JFK. Many younger underclass types vote for the handout. Many people just vote the way their parents did. The Democrats have great skill in opening wounds and inciting animosity.
Not only will the MSM ignore her, even though her civil rights qualifications are excellent, the Left will begin attacking her. This apostacy cannot be tolerated. They will turn on her like rabid dogs if she keeps this up. Read the whole article at

This woman is very careful how she speaks! She is very gracious, and wants nothing more than to show the love of Christ to those who have suffered at the hands of Planned Parenthood!! She is rightly fighting for the lives of the unborn, and the protection of women from the shame, guilt, and pain inflicted by PP. She has a story to tell of the post-abortive that Planned Parenthood wants to KILL because in the telling of the stories of the post-abortives is the TRUTH of the abortion industry. The TRUTH will dispell the DECEIT, the LIES the devil has sold to our society!! When that happens the Killing Industry will be seen for its real, horrifying state and it will die its own death.
Heavenly Father, protect and preserve Dr Alveda King and all others who are speaking out on behalf of the unborn and the post-abortive! May their lives, stories, words be lifted up and seen as light dispelling the darkness spread by the devil and Planned Parenthood. Let the LIGHT shine, Lord! Bring victory to the Pro-Life movement, answer the prayers of your children, and bring an end to the killings of the innocent unborn, in the name and blood of Jesus, amen!
