Just for the record, my very best friend growing up is gay. We are still friends to this day. Meeting him, you would not have a clue. PhD in math, works with the DOD, and his specific work got some of our solders home safe from Iraq. I have all the respect in the world for him.

CeltjewLibertarian, NMH said this to you?

“This “friend” is probably your “partner”.”

Well, that remark, speaks volumes about the one who said it...

After such a remark, I am glad to see that you could still maintain a sense of humor, as is evidenced by your Dewey Decimal System remark...

It didn't bother, once I realized she needs her fantasy life. I mean, I'm tempted to give a physical description of myself if it helps her along.

As for the rest, hey, WWGD? Nu?

“It didn’t bother, once I realized she needs her fantasy life. I mean, I’m tempted to give a physical description of myself if it helps her along.”

My facts about homosexuality and exposing your son to it - DO bother you as they should. It shows you still have a conscience.

Odd you claim to be a Jew and deny that homoseuxlity is wrong and even go so far as to have your son be the Godfather, of all things, to your “friend”.

“As for the rest, hey, WWGD? Nu?”

Stay clear of people who live ina fantasy world - really wanting to believe that homsexuality is normal. Homosexuality defies rality and is an utter perversion in the worst way of what God intended for man on this earth.

I’m always amazed at how people delude themselves so they feel better about either being a homosexual or advocating it - how disgusting it is.

Ah a homosexual sympathizer.

Very cute.

Yes, many still feel shame about being a homosexual as they should and hide behind the “friend”.

“Well, that remark, speaks volumes about the one who said it...”

LOL! Yes, it “speaks volumes”?

????

Guess I missed this mind boggling revelation by an COMMON observation. The cliche doesn't fit but heck neither do the parts fit together NORMALLY in a "gay" relationship. It's more illogical commentary. I suppose only a fellow homosexual or sympathizer can glean something startling from that statement. Using the "friend" stuff is typically used when the person doesn't want to acknowledge they are a homosexual. In other words they are hedging and not wanting to expose themselves, in writing, that is, I don’t want to know about his personal life or yours for that matter.

“After such a remark, I am glad to see that you could still maintain a sense of humor, as is evidenced by your Dewey Decimal System remark...”

Oh, indeed ! After such an EARTH SHATTERING STATEMENT, indeed ... it’s always amusing to see homosexual humor - it’s so childish. Yes, it highlights their emotional immaturity that goes along with being a homosexual. I can’t begin to tell you how unimpressed I am with homosexuals and their kindergarten style humor.

Well, both you boys have a nice day. Celtic looks like you found another soul mate. Better not let your friend know ... then again, males frequently change partners till they eventually pick up aids ... . Most don't make it past their 40's.

Well, here's one more place you go off the tracks. I don't think homosexuality is normal. For that matter, however, I don't think left-handedness is normal. I don't think being over seven feet tall is normal. There are a lot of things in the world that are not normal.

Therefore, abnormal does not necessarilly equal wrong.

Now, I know it says this and that in the Bible, but there are a fair number of abnormalities. A lot of God's rules don't seem to apply in specific cases. Tamar finally had her children fathered by her father-in-law -- or else there would have been no further tribe of Judah, for example.

And then there's Ruth the Moabite, who's great-grandson David brought the Ark to Jerusalem and who's great-great-grandson, Solomon, built the First Temple, despite Deuteronomy 23:3: "An Ammonite or a Moabite shall not enter into the assembly of the LORD; even to the tenth generation shall none of them enter into the assembly of the LORD for ever."

The NMH's of the time would have been screaming at Ruth and Boaz getting together. They would have been trying to drag David away from the ark and Solomon out of the Temple.

I don't presume to know what God has planned for and expects of a given individual. Because I am imperfect in my knowledge, I base my decisions about people on how they treat other people. And when a gay man has helped me, as well as my wife, through some of the toughest times of our lives, that is the way I judge his worth.

As I said, I do not presume to know God's plan in every detail. To make such a presumption is to set oneself up as a graven image of self-worship. I suggest, NMH, that you are breaking the Second Commandment (or first, as some would have it). You would do well to look to it, before you presume anything else.
