Unfortnately there are so many people that don’t believe abortion is morally wrong. That is also why there is no political solution to abortion and never will be.
I hear you ... but if we can get past the tyrannical Roe v. Wade lunacy, I'm pretty sure my state of Alabama will largely end abortion within our borders. And the same is true of many other states.
We are one or two Supreme Court appointments from overthrowing that tyranny.
Hence the importance of supporting conservatives for the presidency.
That's because the GOP, with candyasses like Specter, Collins, Whitman, etc. keep pushing the party to become more "tolerant" instead of drawing a line in the sand. The GOP elitists refuse to defend the pro-life movement and instead allow the opposition to set the debate. That's why you have the pro-baby killers running around saying they're pro-choice while the pro-lifers are "anti-choice." It's a bogus argument but the GOP has done a sorry job in this area.
I disagree with that statement. I think that the majority of people know it's morally wrong. They don't want society to say it's morally wrong because they have had an abortion, they have loved ones that have had an abortion, or they fear that a loved one might be raped. As long as society does not condemn it, then you don't have to face up to the fact they you have stood by and allowed innocent human beings to be slaughtered. You can just tell your conscience that even though it troubles you, it can't really be morally wrong if so many good people think it's not.
