And yes, I am familiar with the Ottoman Empire. Breaking it up after WW1 is what made the Middle East what it is today. Too bad the promise of land west of the Jordan River going to Jews was reniged on.

But please, fell free to list all those countries we have taken over and hold hostage in our “Empire.”

Well, technically in this war, we are on both sides. Many of our liberal brethren joined the other side a long time ago. Many are in the Congress.

The President is on the right side of this. The Left is shameless.

We are in a global war to protect our freedom and our way of life and prevent the world from plunging into a new Dark Age controlled by a 7th century islamic terrorist society. The war in Iraq is the major front in this war, the terrorist organizations like Al Qaeda and the terrorist regimes like Iran and Syria have chosen Iraq to be the their center battleground against us, and it is in Iraq where we are annihilating the terrorists by the tens of thousands.
