I will look for the story for the link but I read somewhere earlier that Emily's new boyfriend had just dropped her off at her dorm when Cho found her at her room. Her Myface page talked of her new boyfriend and it wasn't Cho.

“New boyfriend” I thought Cho was the “Old” boyfriend which is why all of this took place.
